Now that you know the benefits, here's what you have to do join. If you don't meet all the requirements we have listed below, please let us know by email. Where appropriate, we will consider special or unusual situations. You may be eligible for inclusion even if you don't fulfill the requirements due to your special circumstances.

Bands and Artists:

	Band or Artist must be based in or around the Los Angeles area.
	Should have a functioning web page which is maintained regularly.
	You must be a currently performing artist, offering your talent for others to see.
	In order to be part of the ring, you must incorporate thelamusicscene.com web ring navigation into your web site. (click here for more information)

Clubs or Venues:

	Venues must be located in or around the Los Angeles Area.
	Should have a functioning web page which is maintained regularly.
	Venue must have musical acts performing on a regular basis.
	Provide booking contact information for bands.
	In order to be part of the ring, you must incorporate thelamusicscene.com web ring navigation into your web site. (click here for more information)

To join thelamusicscene.com web ring:
Simply click on the link below. The link below will take you to Webring.org's web ring for The LA Music Scene. Before you can join the web ring you will have to be a member of Yahoo. In the upper right hand corner of the page you'll find a link to "Join This Ring." After clicking the link you'll be prompted for your ID and password. The rest of the process will be step by step and shouldn't be any problem. The process of "joining the web ring" submits your site for review. You will be notified by email when your band or club is accepted. Notification typically takes a week to ten days.

When accepted:
You will have one week to add the web ring navigation to your web page. The web ring navigation will enable people to navigate the web ring from your site. Adding the ring navigation is fairly simple and the instructions will be emailed to you through Webring.org in a confirmation email. If you need help or having questions about adding the navigation to your page we will be happy to assist you. Once the navigation is included to your page, you will be officially part of the ring. However, if you're unable to include the navigation to your web page within one week from approval it will be necessary to re-submit your site through Yahoo.
