Geral Information:   The Unurban

Walking into the UnUrban Coffee House might be the equivalent to getting home after a long day. The environment is relaxing, down to earth. The shop is distinctly separated into various rooms; from the counter that feels like a kitchen to the "living room" in the back.

The Atmosphere:

The UnUrban is friendly from the outside with its window adorning the words "Live Music!" The front entrance brings you into the area where you order your food and drinks. There are lots of display items, knick-knacks for sale, various pastries and a great menu.

Just off to the left you'll enter the "dinning room," with its fairly decent sized stage in front of the window, some tables and chairs. Along both walls of the room you'll find fold down seats to accommodate the larger crowds that the live music draws in.

The further back in the UnUrban you go, the quieter it gets. You can sit at one of the tables in the "hallway" that leads to the back, listen to music, and be at just enough distance to focus on writing or anything you might bring with you.

Just around the corner the UnUrban gets a little quieter and you can sit on a couch and relax with some friends, enjoy a conversation, enjoy your coffee or shop. They have quite a selection for knick-knacks in this area (T-Shirts, Mugs and other Coffee House novelties).

At the UnUrban, the music is folky, eclectic and the acts are consistent. The atmosphere is colorful, vibrant and artsy, which is a very inviting feel that you'll find yourself coming back for.

What you should know:

The UnUrban is very artist friendly. The stage includes a piano and they have one of the best open mics in town. If you're looking for a place to go relax, study or listen to live music, there aren't too many places like this.

Parking Situation:

Parking at the UnUrban is good. You can park on the street and they have limited parking in the back. In addition, they rent out the bank parking across the street on Friday and Saturday nights*. * Check with the UnUrban
