The Atmosphere:

The Martini Lounge is a visual sensation waiting to happen. From the outside the club has an inviting and mysterious appeal. After you pass through the entrance and wonder into the first bar, you'll find yourself in a comfortable lounge area that's great for hanging out with your friends.

The large main room of the club is where you'll find all the live music. The stage is right in the center of the room against the wall. There's a bar off to your right, and a bench follows the length of the back wall for seating. Dark stone tile floors and black ceilings with small ornamental lamps hanging from everywhere set the mood for the projection televisions that play against the white walls.

A second entrance from the street enters a small room that is also attached to the main room. This room is set aside as a sushi bar, seating for 4 to 5. A small staircase just next to the door takes you upstairs to the patio on the roof. The patio has its own bar, is quiet and has lots of seating.

What you should know:

The Martini Lounge is known in LA for artists and bands in the alternative to hard rock category, but the clubs atmosphere serves up the alternative (and dance) scene extremely well. This is a fun place to go with friends to see a band you like.

Parking Situation:

Parking is available on the streets around the club, but they've worked it out so that you can also park in at the gas station across the street. The neighborhood is not well lit at night, so if you have to park at a distance, you might want to bring a friend.
