The Atmosphere:

The hustle and bustle of City Walk adds to a heightened sense of excitement and anticipation. The City Loft, where B.B. Kings is located, will take you up a long escalator to a glass tile bridge leading to the club's entrance. The windows outside look upon the gift shop and you can see and hear the music inside on their outdoor speakers.

Immediately after entering, City Walk is somehow left behind and the atmosphere is low lit with live music, dinning and drinking. There's a bar to the left and seating to the right. The three-story venue wraps around the stage. There's no question that music is the central attraction here.

All three levels of the venue look out onto the stage, each floor with a color scheme slightly differing from the others. The walls are decorated with blues memorabilia and photos of some of the legendary artists, including B.B. King.

The sound is fantastic and no matter where you are in the club you'll have a good view and good sound. The stage is large and there are two projection TVs, one hanging on either side of the stage.

If you enjoy dancing and the music moves you, there's a dance floor in front of the stage. In need of fresh air, you won't miss a beat; the music is piped outside to the patio.

B.B. Kings is a cross between the nightclub experience and a nice restaurant/bar. It's a great place to get dinner and catch some great music or just hang out and have a drink.

What you should know:

This is one classy place and you get everything you'd expect in service. The music is top notch and genre specific. You're not going to go to B.B. Kings and be disappointed. The club features mostly local artists. It's said that B.B. stops by 2x a year.

Parking Situation:

Parking isn't a problem at City Walk; you just have to be prepared for the $7.00 price tag. It is possible to park close to B.B. Kings, just let them know where you're going when you pay, so they can direct you. If you see a movie at City Walk, the parking stub will save you a couple of bucks.
